The Creative Process
I think a lot of what we do is built upon our childhood. (until we’re told not to be creative any more)
I was talking with @JonathanMalm about things we did as children that very much mimic what we do professionally today. At Christmas I was excited to get presents and unwrap the boxes, but when I go back and look at pictures I’m playing with the boxes more than the toys. I can remember building fake ray guns, space ships and who knows what else with some boxes, tape and a little imagination.
Starbucks cold cup
Starbucks has done a lot of cool stuff for their coffee, recycled paper sleeves to show how environment conscious they are, while protecting your hands. Stoppers to plug up your coffee lid so you don’t end up with a lap full of scalding coffee and smiling faces to serve you your hearts desire.
These are all great things but when it comes to cold drinks I get a thin plastic cup and end up with drink sweat all over me, my pants, my desk, my papers.
What the heck? Lets get rolling on a post consumer paper coozie or something for these suckers!
iPhone 4s review
Ok I have had the Iphone 4s for less than two days but I figured I’d give initial out of the box impressions.
It’s fast.
Two-Fifty Tuesday: Carolina Edition
I am now beyond my second week at Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and I figured I would give a little bit of an update that yes I made it and yes I’m alive.
The move was as expected, long and arduous drive coupled with an excitement to get there which equalled some lead foot on my behalf.
I dove right in, lots of new software and systems to learn. Meeting tons of people and forgetting 99% of their names.
God knew what he was doing when this opportunity opened up. I feel like I’ve slid right in and been here a while.
Seacoast is amazing, I have been able to attend services and that is absolutely huge!
Charleston is beautiful. I’m living on Daniel Island and have been running in the marshes, it is awesome. Downtown Charleston is one of those really cool historic places and Mt. Pleasant is a great coastal town.
I have yet to hit the beach or mellow mushroom but both of those are on the list to do very soon. Yes they are both VERY important 
.
I do miss some aspects of houston, like family and friends and some food choices….like tex-mex, but I’ll live.
So I know I’m shy of 250 words but I need to get moving!
